Email notifications Doxa sends for team invites, approvals, generations, and custom domain changes

Email

Doxa sends transactional email when a project event needs a person's attention or confirms a change. Team invites, approval requests and decisions, finished generations, and custom domain status changes can all trigger an email. If a message does not arrive, check your spam folder and allow the sender addresses listed below.

Email types

Each email is sent when its event happens. The table shows who receives each type.

EmailSent whenRecipients
Team inviteA manager creates an invite with an email address. The invited address.
Approval requestedAn agent action needs approval. A reused request does not send a new email.Members who can decide approvals for that action. For a project creation request, the requester receives it. If the project requires another decider, the requester does not receive it.
Approval decidedA member approves or rejects a request. The requester, unless the requester made the decision.
Generation finishedA generation succeeds or fails. The person who started the generation. Doxabot runs with no linked author send nothing.
Domain status changedA domain check moves a custom domain to verified or failed. The check can run from the dashboard, from an agent, or on a schedule.Members who can manage domains.

Note:

A generation that you cancel does not send an email.

Sender addresses

Doxa sends each kind of email from its own subdomain. A reputation problem on one subdomain does not affect the others.
